Operate the DHP511 Independently from the MTB-CUT 180T

The DHP511 Photo Printer cannot connect directly to the MTB-CUT 180T and must be operated as an independent machine.

The DHP511 Photo Printer cannot be connected directly to the Mietubl MTB-CUT 180T Screen Protector Cutting Machine. These are two independent machines and cannot connect to each other. To use the DHP511, operate it independently rather than attempting to connect it through the MTB-CUT 180T. No prerequisites or connection procedure between these two machines are supported.

What This Connection Limitation Means

The limitation applies specifically to connecting the DHP511 Photo Printer with the MTB-CUT 180T. The cutting machine does not provide a supported direct connection to this printer. Because the two machines operate independently, the DHP511 is not controlled, accessed, or connected through the MTB-CUT 180T.

This also means that a procedure intended for connecting another supported printer should not be treated as a DHP511 connection procedure. The documented action for the DHP511 is independent operation.

How to Use the DHP511 with This Equipment

  1. Do not use a direct connection: The MTB-CUT 180T does not support a direct connection to the DHP511 Photo Printer.
  2. Treat the machines as independent equipment: The MTB-CUT 180T and DHP511 cannot connect to each other and should not be treated as a connected system.
  3. Operate the DHP511 independently: Use the photo printer separately instead of trying to operate it through the MTB-CUT 180T.

Printer Compatibility as a Separate Decision

If the goal is to use a printer that connects with a Mietubl screen protector cutting machine, separate compatibility information identifies supported Canon and Epson printers. Canon G580 and G680 printers are highly recommended for compatibility and print quality. A compatible printer must support photo printing because the film material is thicker than regular A4 paper.

This general printer compatibility information does not change the DHP511 limitation. It provides an alternative direction for choosing a printer, but it does not make the DHP511 connectable to the MTB-CUT 180T.

Common Questions

Can the DHP511 connect directly to the MTB-CUT 180T?

No. Direct connection between the DHP511 Photo Printer and the MTB-CUT 180T is not supported.

Can the DHP511 be operated through the cutting machine?

No. The DHP511 should be operated independently rather than through the MTB-CUT 180T.

Completion Check and Documented Limitation

There is no supported connection to complete or verify between these two machines. The intended operating state is for the MTB-CUT 180T and DHP511 to remain independent. If the DHP511 is being operated separately rather than through the cutting machine, its use follows the documented limitation.
