Default Cutting Settings and Material-Specific Ranges

Use a material size of 180 mm × 120 mm, cutting pressure of 300, cutting speed of 200, and blade holder scale of 5 as the default setup for most materials.

The basic default setup is a material size of 180 mm width × 120 mm height, cutting pressure of 300, cutting speed of 200, and blade holder scale of 5. These defaults are suitable for most materials. For back film, four layer soft film, or explosion-proof material, use the documented blade holder scale and pressure ranges for that specific material instead of relying only on the general values.

Default Settings for Most Materials

The default values provide one general setup covering material dimensions, cutting pressure, cutting speed, and blade holder scale. The documented settings are:

SettingDefault value
Material size180 mm width × 120 mm height
Cutting pressure300
Cutting speed200
Blade holder scale5

These values are identified as suitable for most materials. They serve as the basic settings when no more specific material range is needed.

Settings for Specific Material Types

Three material categories have additional parameter suggestions. These recommendations provide ranges for the blade holder scale and pressure, allowing the settings to reflect the selected material type.

MaterialBlade holder scalePressure
Back film4–5250–300
Four layer soft film4–6300–350
Explosion-proof material7–8350–450

Back film has the lowest documented pressure range. Four layer soft film uses a higher pressure range while retaining a blade holder scale that overlaps with the general default. Explosion-proof material has the highest documented blade holder scale and pressure ranges.

Choosing the Applicable Values

  1. Use 180 mm × 120 mm as the documented default material size.
  2. For most materials, begin with pressure 300, speed 200, and blade holder scale 5.
  3. If the material is back film, four layer soft film, or explosion-proof material, select the corresponding blade holder scale and pressure range from the material table.

The material-specific guidance changes only the blade holder scale and pressure. No separate cutting speed or material-size values are provided for the three listed material types, so the documented material-specific recommendations should be limited to the two parameters shown.
